Getting Started with Bettors

This guide will help you get started with Bettors, from setting up your wallet to placing your first bet.

Requirements

To use Bettors, you'll need:

• A desktop device (mobile support coming soon)

• A Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, or other Solana-compatible wallets)

• SOL tokens for placing bets (minimum 0.5 SOL per bet)

Setting Up Your Wallet

1. Install a Solana Wallet:

   • For beginners, we recommend Phantom Wallet

   • Install the browser extension from the official website

2. Create or Import a Wallet:

   • Follow the wallet provider's instructions to create a new wallet or import an existing one

   • Make sure to securely store your seed phrase

3. Fund Your Wallet:

   • Transfer SOL to your wallet from an exchange or another wallet

   • You'll need a minimum of 0.5 SOL to place a bet

Accessing Bettors

1. Visit the Bettors Platform:

   • Navigate to bettors.io using a desktop browser

2. Connect Your Wallet:

   • Click the "Connect Wallet" button in the top right corner

   • Select your wallet provider from the list

   • Approve the connection in your wallet extension

3. Navigate the Platform:

   • Use the sidebar to browse different sections:

     • Live: View and bet on current predictions

     • Leaderboard: See top bettors

     • My Bets: Track your betting history

     • Profile: Manage your profile settings

Viewing Available Bets

On the "Live" page, you'll see all current betting opportunities:

• Each card represents a prediction about an influencer

• You can sort bets by name or end date using the filters at the top

• View the current pool size and distribution between "For" and "Against" positions

• See the current multipliers for each betting position
